Why

The cargo-plates have really been annoying me... They limited my movement way too much.

I took a look at them, and figured out you could use the mounting-point for the cargo-bags, as well as two of the real mounting-points to move it out of my way

UPDATE:

I figured out that this is actually intended, but not very well explained in the instructions, so i'm leaving it here, incase someone else doesn't know...

Tool Required

  • 4 mm Hex Driver
  • Legs that need more room
  • Segway

Instructions

  • If you have already installed the cargo-plates, remove the 8 hex-screws to unmount it.
  • Take the brackets, and screw 1 screw in each of them, as shown here (x is a screw, o is a free hole):

  • Align the cargo-plates as shown here, with the 3 holes in the plate covering the free holes, and then mount it with the 6 screws.
You should have all of the screw holes in the brackets filled.

Congratulations, now there's room for your legs!
