A Segseat is a folding seat sold by www.segseat.com. It allows you to sit down while operating your first generation Segway.
I am in no way affiliated with Segseat, I use the product and think it is WONDERFUL
Parts List:
- Seat and mount assembly
- Horizontal track
- Upper collar, 2 screws and 2 nuts
- Alan wrench
- Lower collar, 4 screws
- Lower mount and foot assembly
- Lower Control Shaft Bushing

Installation:
- Remove the control shaft and disconnect both cables.
- Place the bushing around the bottom of the control shaft
- Reattach the cables and replace the control shaft into the base.
- Slowly remove the rubber bumper on the front of the control shaft, it is held on with a mastic adhesive.
- Attach the lower mount and foot assembly to the control shaft using the four supplied screws
- Attach the horizontal track and support shaft assembly onto the control shaft
- Adjust the height of the top support and the support until you have a level slide.
- Completely tighten all six screws

Notes:
- The paint pealed off on the control shaft where the brackets attach on my i180
- Although the photographs on the web site show yellow and red trimmed seats, only black is available
